By submitting content, interviews, and information to KVIG Informative, you grant us the right to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display the content in various formats, including but not limited to social media, website, print materials, and multimedia presentations. You understand that the content may be edited, adapted, or translated as necessary for the purpose of informing the public and promoting the values of journalism.

1. General Terms

  1. KVIG Informative is a media organization that produces journalism in various forms, including but not limited to interviews, articles, and educational materials that may be assisted by artificial intelligence. All AI-assisted content undergoes human editorial review to ensure accuracy.
  2. By accessing and using the content on this website, you (“Participant”) grant the organization the right to capture, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display any content, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and audio recordings (collectively, “Captured Content”). You further acknowledge that Captured Content may be shared with and used by the organization’s community partners and affiliates for purposes including, but not limited to, non-news related promotion, community outreach, and organizational advocacy.
  3. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You hereby release the organization and its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of or in connection with the lawful use of the Captured Content.
  4. You understand that Captured Content may be edited or adapted for length, clarity, or technical requirements. The organization reserves the right to refuse to publish or air any content that does not meet our standards for accuracy, fairness, and impartiality.
  5. The organization maintains final editorial control. However, the organization will not make substantive changes to the factual essence or intent of your contribution without prior consultation or approval.
  6. All trademarks and original investigative reporting on this website are the property of KVIG Informative. Unauthorized use of this website, including automated data scraping or harvesting of content, is strictly prohibited.
  7. From time to time, this website may include links to other websites provided for your convenience. KVIG Informative does not endorse these websites and has no responsibility for their content or privacy practices.
  8. Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the laws of the United States. KVIG Informative reserves the right to change these terms at any time; continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current version.
  9. By accessing this website, the Participant agrees to be responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information provided. The Participant acknowledges that it is their responsibility to exercise due diligence and critical thinking when consuming media.
  10. KVIG Informative and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions, or damages arising from the use of the content provided on this website. It is the Participant’s responsibility to seek additional sources to ensure a full understanding of the topics presented.

2. Use of Artificial Intelligence

KVIG Informative may employ artificial intelligence tools as part of its editorial and administrative processes, including research assistance, transcription, translation, workflow efficiency, and ideation. The use of such tools does not replace human editorial judgment, fact-checking, or journalistic standards — AI functions as a complement to our reporting process, never a substitute for it.

Any article, image caption, or piece of content that was substantively drafted with AI assistance will be reviewed and approved by a human editor prior to publication. KVIG Informative is committed to transparency about our use of these tools and welcomes reader questions about our editorial process at any time.

3. Image and Likeness Release

By attending, participating in, or being present at a KVIG Informative-covered public event — whether as an interview subject, event attendee, or member of the public in the surrounding area — an individual’s presence in a public setting may result in their image, likeness, or voice being captured and published as part of our news coverage, consistent with standard press practices at public events.

Sources and named subjects. Any individual who is directly interviewed, quoted, or named as a subject of a story will have their participation and the terms of their inclusion (on-record, background, or anonymous) discussed with them directly by our editorial staff prior to publication, consistent with standard journalistic practice.

Minors. KVIG Informative applies heightened care when a story involves a minor as a named subject or interview participant. In such cases, our editorial staff — not the minor alone — will seek to obtain parental or guardian consent before publishing identifying information, images, or direct quotes from a minor. This standard applies specifically to minors who are subjects of a story; it does not extend to minors who may incidentally appear in wide-shot photography or video of a public event (e.g., a crowd photo at a public rally), which is treated consistently with standard press coverage of public spaces.

4. Data Handling and Privacy

In the course of operating this website and our newsletter, KVIG Informative may collect information including but not limited to names, email addresses, and information voluntarily submitted through contact forms, tips, or newsletter sign-ups (“Data”).

KVIG Informative does not sell Data to third parties. Data may be shared only in the following circumstances:

  1. With service providers directly involved in operating our website, email newsletter, or hosting, solely to the extent necessary to provide those services.
  2. Where required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KVIG Informative, our contributors, or others.
  3. With a source’s or subject’s explicit consent, where relevant to a story.

Subscribers may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link provided in every email. KVIG Informative takes reasonable measures to protect Data but cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored electronically.

5. Communications Monitoring

Communications with KVIG Informative — including but not limited to phone calls, emails, tip submissions, and interview recordings — may be monitored and/or recorded for quality assurance, training, and editorial accuracy purposes. By contacting KVIG Informative, you consent to this practice unless you explicitly state otherwise at the outset of the communication.

6. Corrections and Retractions

KVIG Informative is committed to factual accuracy. If you believe a factual error appears in one of our published pieces, please contact us at contact@kviginfo.com. Confirmed errors will be corrected promptly, and a visible correction note will be appended to the article indicating what was changed and when. Significant errors affecting the substance of a story may result in a retraction, clearly marked as such.

7. Source Protection

KVIG Informative may grant confidentiality to sources who face credible risk of retaliation, harassment, or harm as a result of speaking to us, at the discretion of our editorial staff. We will make reasonable efforts to protect the identity of confidential sources and will not disclose source identities except where required by law.

8. Funding and Sponsorship

KVIG Informative may accept reader donations and sponsorships to support its journalism. Financial support from sponsors or donors does not influence editorial content, story selection, or coverage decisions. Any sponsored or paid content will be clearly and visibly labeled as such and will be held to the same standards of accuracy as our independent reporting.

9. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on this website infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to contact@kviginfo.com including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) identification of the material you believe infringes, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized. We will review and respond to valid claims promptly.

10. Community Comments

Comments on articles are welcome and encouraged as part of civic dialogue. KVIG Informative reserves the right to moderate, hide, or remove comments that are abusive, harassing, defamatory, spam, or otherwise violate basic standards of civil discourse. Repeated violations may result in a reader being blocked from commenting.

By accessing and using the content on this website, you agree to these terms and conditions and acknowledge that any unauthorized use of the content may result in legal action.
